For a quarter of a century, the elite cyclists of Eastern Canada have been gathering here every spring to compete in skill and speed on the circuits of the Grand Prix Cycliste de Charlevoix. But the pleasure of cycling through these picture-postcard landscapes, climbing and descending the “Laurentians-by-the sea,” is not reserved for athletes who dream of a professional career and aspire to the Tour de France… quite the contrary!
By riding at your own pace or even adopting a more epicurean cycling attitude, for example by stopping at various outlets showcasing the region’s prodigious terroir, you can tackle even the most challenging routes! And not all the routes we offer here consist of a series of grueling climbs and unbridled descents.
So, with the aim of making the region even more accessible for road cycling, we have also designed routes that wind through valleys, across plateaus and even… around on an island!
