Pumptracks
At the heart of local life
To energize local living environments and create more opportunities to ride, several municipalities in Charlevoix have integrated pumptracks into their parks and public spaces. These looped tracks have become gathering places for all ages and experience levels.
On a pumptrack, riders flow through rollers and banked turns by letting their bodies do the work, following the rhythm of a pumping motion. By bike, and, when paved, by scooter, skateboard or inline skates, everyone can find their own line and enjoy the ride!
