Martin Simard received a significant honorary award from the FQSC – Fédération Québécoise des Sports Cyclistes – for his involvement in the sport of cycling. On November 5, Martin was inducted into the Quebec Cycling Hall of Fame as a “Builder”.
Martin is a man of boundless energy! He is the founder of Vélo Charlevoix and the Grands Rendez-Vous Cyclistes de Charlevoix series. He is a project manager for the Domaine des Cimes project, logistics director during events, race director when needed, and a super-volunteer who brings people together!
During the evening, Joëlle Bolduc, coach and board member of Vélo Charlevoix, was also awarded the title of Mountain Bike Volunteer of the Year, a recognition for her dedication to the organization.
Thank you to both of you (and to everyone else) for putting so much effort into the success of our activities!
