Baie-Saint-Paul, April 16, 2024 – Vélo Charlevoix is proud to reveal exciting news and long-standing partnerships for their 26th edition of the Grands Rendez-Vous Cyclistes de Charlevoix (GRVCC). These iconic events, enthusiastically embraced by the cycling community, promise an unforgettable experience for all cycling enthusiasts, whatever their level or age.
ROAD EVENTS :
The event kicks off with the prestigious Grand Prix Cycliste de Charlevoix, from May 31 to June 2, marking the start of the tourist season and the competition calendar.
On June 2, the Granfondo de Charlevoix opens its doors to all road cycling enthusiasts. This year, we’re delighted to welcome VAEs (electrically assisted bicycles), making the event even more accessible and inclusive. Starters will be launched at Hôtel & Spa Le Germain Charlevoix, the event’s main partner.
MOUNTAIN EVENTS :
Returning to Camping Le Genévrier after an enforced one-year break, from June 7 to 9, the XCO-XCC Quebec/Canada Cups, presented by MicroBrasserie Charlevoix, promise to bring together the best Canadian and Quebec athletes in the discipline for unforgettable moments of competition.
On June 15 and 16, the Coupe Charlevoix (EVO Cup) has a memorable weekend in store for you at Camping Le Genévrier. On Saturday, immerse yourself in the adrenalin of the Enduro, followed by a festive happy hour to prolong the festivities. Then, on Sunday, take on the XCO challenge. The organization is also proud to collaborate once again with Pharmacie Jean-Coutu – Baie-St-Paul, principal partner of the Charlevoix Cup, demonstrating our commitment to the health and well-being of participants.
To delight the taste buds of cyclists and spectators alike, we’re pleased to announce that À Chacun son Pain – a long-standing partner of the GRVCC – will be on hand to cater for us during the Coupe Québec/Canada and Coupe Charlevoix.
Finally, to further our mission and support our activities, volunteers will be on hand to sell tickets for a half-and-half draw throughout the series of events, enabling Vélo Charlevoix, as a non-profit organization, to continue promoting the passion of cycling in our region.
